THE FRUIT BASKET HAS LANDED! After several phone calls with the Guest Relations Manager, we were able to get most of our issues resolved AND the fruit basket arrived late on Day 2! The fruit basket was very haute, including dried fruits, dark chocolates, and was accompanied by Evian x Alexander Wang water (who knew that collaboration even happened?).
The welcome amenity? Well, we may never know what it was because it never showed up. In my mind, it was Veuve Cliquot Champagne, chilled to the right temperature – a girl can hope, right?
All in all, the Intercontinental New York Times Square was lovely but had some annoying hiccups. Truthfully, the easiest part of the process was checking out, which was super smooth. I have a feeling we both were happy to bid farewell to one another.
